Welcome back, y’all. It’s February, aka American Heart Month, National Snack Food Month, and my personal favorite: Black History Month!
I’m black, I’m proud and there’s no denying that anywhere you look. But love IS in the air this month, so why not combine the two?
Introducing my February mood board, (Black) Love’s in the Air! Featuring all things pink and carefree melaninated black girls, this board is sure to get your heart fluttering.

Row 1
@greychampagne is starting off the mood board right by showing off hints of her cute pink ensemble, complete with a Gucci belt and amazing shades. Rocking a bob, this girl knows exactly what it’s like to be pretty in pink!
@kiraamaa is next on the first row with a spread to die for. Tea, pastries and other items adorn this table. Brunch anyone? Perfect idea for a Galentine’s outing with the girls!
The last picture on the first row is from @classiccitychic who basically looks like a princess. With a tulle skirt and an adorable clutch, I’m already dreaming of my happily ever after!

I’ve never seen lollipops so cute and sweet before I saw @thecuratedchic‘s photo. I’d love something sweet for V-Day… *hint hint*.
For the oh-so important middle photo, we have @vanessahudgens and her rosy 80s themed sunglasses. Lana Del Rey is probably jealous and to be honest, so am I. I’m as in love with these glasses as she is with Austin Butler (my zanessa heart is hurting, though).
Rounding out the second row is @authentically.b! Rocking her glasses, ‘fro and a pink and red outfit, she truly lives up to her username!

@stevemadden is the owner of the first photo on the last row of my mood board. Velvet is clearly still in with these two powerful ladies showing off their pants and height with these platform heels.
Next up is @xoxohannahred with this adorable pink flatlay. Her entire feed is as pink as can be and I’m totally loving it. “Love Today” is the perfect two words for this month!
To round out the mood board, we have @headinthecloudsblog showcasing two Glossier products. Settled on gorgeous pink flowers, this last picture definitely leaves me feeling warm and fuzzy…plus ready to try out some of these products one day!
