DIVASWIGS Human Hair Wig Review

Welcome back y’all! So, as you all know, I love changing my hair constantly. Whether it is braiding it, putting it into two afro puffs or something else entirely, I almost always have my hair in a different style.

One thing I have yet to really get into were wigs…until now, obviously! Today’s blog post is a review of a wig that was sent to me by DIVASWIGS.com. Stella was so extremely nice from the first initial email to me actually receiving the wig. More on that later though.

I was sent a Malaysian Human Hair Bob with Bangs in the color DW008. It’s a 360 Lace Frontal Wig and came in a white box with DIVASWIGS in gold on the top. Unfortunately, I lost all of my pictures unboxing it, so I’ll do my best with descriptions!

The hairy details

There were a lot of goodies when I first opened the box. There was a wig booklet on how to wash and care for the wig, as well as how to cut the lace and the best heat to straighten it with.

In addition to the booklet, there was a brush and a wig cap. The wig itself was wrapped around a netting and inside of a bag.

Y’all…the minute I touched the hair of this wig, I was in love. It was silky, smooth and incredibly soft to the touch!

It took me a minute to actually wear this wig out, but once I did I was not disappointed. The bangs were initially too long for my liking, so I cut those shorter before wearing it for the first time.

I’m not really a bangs person, but I grew to love them! I got a lot of compliments on my hair, which stayed in place the whole day and held up through a light rain shower.

While wearing it, I definitely felt like a 70s-90s teenager/soccer mom/socialite. This is a great beginners wig, which I totally appreciated since I am, indeed, a wig beginner.

Despite having lace, the wig also came with combs attached in three or four places. It was easy to move the bang around to have a side-swept look, but I personally believe that it looks better how it comes.

I loved wearing this wig and Stella and the rest of the team at DIVASWIGS were incredibly nice. They provided the tracking number for the wig and also followed up once it arrived. I recommend getting a wig from them for sure!
