I’m sure you’ve all seen those headband wigs all over Instagram and TikTok! If not, you’re in luck. That’s what this blog post is about today!
Today, I’ll be reviewing an amazing 18 inch body wave high density headband wig from Luvme Hair. Headband wigs have been all the rage lately, as people try to find different ways to do their hair that don’t require heat.
I can’t wait to share my thoughts on it! Spoiler alert…they’re pretty positive. 😉
So, the order came relatively quickly! Maybe four to five days. I get so many packages, I don’t even keep track of when they come anymore, to be honest, LOL.
It arrived with a rip in the top, but of course, things happen in transit. Luckily, nothing inside of the box was harmed! Thanks again to Luvme Hair for sending this to me to review!
Inside of the box was the wig, obviously, but other nice goodies too! There was a goodie bag, including an edge brush, hair clips and five different headbands to change up the default black one.
The wig itself was wrapped in a hairnet that easily fell once it was removed. The hair was pretty wavy and looked more and more natural the more I ran my fingers through it. I also added mousse to help keep down frizz with the curls.
Inside the wig were three to four combs to attach to your wig cap so it doesn’t go anywhere.
This is not my first wig, but it is my first headband wig. I’m totally glad nobody saw me putting this wig on, because it was comical! I was twisting, huffing, puffing and more before I finally got it on.
Like I always say, trust the process, because once it was finally on, it looked great.
Unlike a half wig or a lace wig, there’s not much preparation to really do, which makes it great to put on when you’re in a rush, or you’re feeling super lazy.
It was easier for me to put this wig on since my hair was still straightened. I did two flat twists (#teamcantcornrow), then slipped the wig cap on until it rested towards the front of my hair, which was parted in the middle.
This isn’t a wig I would put on while exercising, but for doing basic things like walking, shopping and eating, it’s perfect. It was certainly perfect for my mini photoshoot I did outside, LOL.
It’s about the length of my actual natural hair when straight, so I had no problem with it resting down my back. In fact, I would buy an even longer wig from this company, just because the ease of a headband wig is to die for.
Overall, this is a perfect wig to invest in if you’re a wig newbie like me! The package came with not only the wig, but everything a beginner would need to put it on. The package also came with instructions on how to put it on, as well as wash and care for it.

Head wigs are so easy to use
Well i purchase my 16 inch curly headband wig it arrive in a week everything in the packaging is beautiful but when i took the wig out the drawstring bag the width is very small i had was to fight to get it on my head now the length to me is not 16 inch the company told me to measure it so i say to myself then wat would 10 inch and 12 and 14 look like then it don’t even drop on the top of my shoulders i purchase it for a special event not i ave to return it don’t get me wrong the hair itself is good quality but its the width and the length I’m not gonna pay that type of $$$ for a hair that I’m not satisfied with so now the company inform me to take pictures of the hair inside out to make sure there’s no glue or gell is on it which it’s still in the bag i work crazy hrs so this week I’ll take pics and then wait on them to send me a return address ans refund me back my $$$ they need to inform customers of the width and length before selling this product because wat u c on the pics is not wat u get in ur package.
Same thing happened to me, now I’m kinda leery about purchasing again.. The hair is nice, but if you pay your money you should get what you pay for. We all know this is a Korean business and maybe they’re measuring the hair wrong.. I wanted to send mine back, but the price of shipping is ridiculous..
This is a horrible company, the wigs advertised look nothing like the wigs you receive. Now it is a hassel to return it. Never again. Not worth the trouble..
I bought like 14 wigs since July of last year. I love them. I have headband wigs as well as their lace front wigs. I would say 2 out of 14 were a little small for my head, but it wasn’t bad. I love the buy one get one free deals. I love my wigs. I have gotten different colors, lengths, curly , wet and wavy, body wave, straight. This is my go to site and I just love it I am waiting for another t-part wig to come on Monday February 21st. I Love me some Luvme.
Well I must say it’s all hands up for me with the headband wig I own about 4 in all I love the fact that they’re easy to install and before putting
unit on I spray it with a little conditioner and water in a bottle and the hair looks marvelous I get alot of complaints.
Yes Luvme hair love the headbands and the other throw on and go styles they are easy to work with and don’t have to do much to it then are my favorite ones
I brought my 1st wig from them,a glueless curly..was skeptical at 1st but I love it and he does too…so I will be purchasing again. Also great shipping time!
I have 2 LuvMe wigs. The quality is very good. I bought both wigs at the same time. One headband & one body wave w/bangs. I know it’s just a box, but that deep purple with a shimmer got me & can’t part with it. 😂🤷♀️
The goodie bag was so nice, very different than my usual vendor. Hair clips, bobby pins, satin scarf, tweezers, 7 headbands much nicer than my go to vendor, black satin srunchie, non slip wig band, fine tooth comb w/thin metal parting tool, And a nice pick w/ tee
I Iike how they always have decent coupons to use. Before buying from them, I bought 16 wigs in just under 1yr from UNice. They are a bit cheaper in costs vs LuvMe quality is very good as well. Unfortunately, my last 2 have left me to buy from LuvMe now on. One wasn’t even close to what I ordered & clearly was of bad quality, VERY unusual. The other is really nice, but I placed the order 5/21 received 5/31 and I had no tracking # & never did get someone to see what the hold up was. Athe goodie bag consisted of a pk of wig caps & 2 of the exact same headbands, nothing else. Bad goodie bags aren’t a deal breaker but geez at least they couI’ve sent 2 Different headbands lol. I’ve yet to speak to anyone from UNice. Very unusual, once again. The wig I received that I said wasn’t the one I ordered,well it’s Noticeably very thin & the ends…OhMy, gonna have to cut a good 3 inches off. Since I was unable to reach them, I sent an email yesterday explaining my issue and that I was no longer a customer. #LuvMesumLoveMe#TeamLuvMe
